A rezoning request for the property at 16766 Mountain Road (west of the Montpelier Veterinary Hospital) has been submitted to Hanover County.

The request was made to change to current zoning of A-1 Agricultural to B-3 General Business.
The petitioner wants to install ten gas pumps, a sandwich/coffee shop restaurant, and convert the existing house dwelling to office space.
This plan is in a very preliminary stage as of this writing. It will not go before the Hanover County Planning Commission until March or April at the earliest.
The petitioner will also be holding a community meeting at some point for the general public.
