The Hanover County Planning Commission, will meet on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 7:00pm to discuss a rezoning application (C-25-17) by William Joyce. Mr. Joyce is requesting changing the zoning from A1 Agricultural to B3 Commercial.
If granted, the land parcels will be developed into a 12-pump gas station, tavern, restaurant and office site, by Mr. Joyce and Doug Harris.
Ensure that the Planning Commission hears your voice. You will have an opportunity to speak in favor of or in opposition to the rezoning request at the Planning Commission’s meeting on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 7:00pm.

Directions from Montpelier Community Center:
• Take Mountain Road (Rt. 33) to Patrick Henry Road (Rt. 54)
• Turn left onto Patrick Henry Road towards Ashland
• Follow Patrick Henry Road until it dead-ends into Hanover Courthouse Road (Rt. 301)
• Turn Right (south) to County Complex Road
• Turn Left into County Complex Road and follow until you see the County Administration Building, which is the large building in the center of the complex.
• Parking is in front of that building
• When you enter the lobby, the Planning Commission auditorium is directly in front of you, behind the front desk and can be entered from either the right or left side of the reception desk via large double doors.
